Last blog post :(

This week I've been in NYC so I haven't  really done anything in class. I think that Stevie has been working on our game some, but i am not for sure, we had the best time inNYC, we went everywhere, my favorite restaurant was Jekyll and Hyde. It was a haunted house themed restaurant. We also went to Ellens, a dinner where there was aspiring actors and actresses trying to get on broadway who sang and danced. We saw Spiderman which was a good broadway show, and went to Madame Tuesads! I am gonna miss this class.

Weekly Blog Post, week of May 2nd- 6th

This week has been Busy!!! We have been working on games like crazy! They are due NEXT FRIDAY! Stevie wasn't here today so I had to do everything today myself which was complicated. I had a track meet yesterday so I am super tired today because we didnt get back until late. Hopefully next week we will finish in a breeze because we need to finish! Well now we have to upload our games so far. Thats what happened this week.

Weekly Post, week of April 18-21

This week has been busy. Its the week before Spring Break. There was going to be a track met yesterday but it was cancelled, which sucked  :(. We have been working on our games, and we are really doing good. Today we are uploading what we have so far! Everyone check it out on our team page its going to be Awesome!!!!

Weekly blog post April 11-15

This week has been pretty good, we have had a half a day and today we are leaving after lunch to see Suessical. I am sooo tired because last night Stevie and I saw Scream 4 at midnight, its never a good idea to go to a movie where you get home at 2:30 am and have to get up at 6! So yah I got a whole 3 1/2 hours of sleep last night. We have been working on games this week and playing other globaloria games to see if there is any code we need. Stevie isn't here today, she is probably sleeping late because of the movie last nigtht. We also posted  about everyones game idea on their walls. Hopefully we will get father in the game next week. The LHS people came over earlier in the week, they didn't help that much,but we had another group to talk about the class with. Well that has basically been this week! :)

Weekly blog post/week of April4-9

This week we started off preparing for our presentations, then we have ended the week by finishing presentations. This week has been really fun, I had my first track meet yesterday at Poca, which was really fun, My relay team won 2nd place! I think that next week we will just be working on actual games, since we had done basically everything else. We worked on our real game, for one day in the middle of the week. We haven't really had trouble with anything this week since we have pretty much just been practicing presentations. I would say that next week we'll have a little bit of trouble with the game, but we will figure it out like we always do,and if we need help then we can ask other people in the class. Thats pretty much whats been going on this week!

I have been sick most of the week, I had pneumoia and today was the first day the doctors let me come back! The first day was ok to stay home, but after three days I was READY to come back to school, I've been sick since Saturday! I guess everyone has been working on game demos and animations,just to get ready for the real game! We saved our demos to Mrs.Zetos flash drive today so hopefully I am not too far behind in all of my classes! And Stevie just told me she wants a pet fox, yah I DON'T KNOW?

Weekly post

This week has been easy. Nothing has went totally wrong, and we have finsihed the weeks work. MRs.Zigmong won the superintendant award at the Globaloria meeting for Logan Co. which is really awesome. We have added animation and I think it looks great , we got back our group picture Mrs.Zeto took which was a really good picture, so it's on my wiki and blogger :). The weekends going to be awesome, track after school then helping Trace with a writing camp at the high school, then grandprx tomorrow with Sara,Stevie,Michaela,Caleb,Zack,Lexi,Peyton,Olivia,Bryce,and Owen! Then the civic center to watch a ballet that Peytons dance company is putting on, which should be fun, then church Sunday which means Supernatural party with everyone!!!! This week has been great and we've been able to keep up with everything, which is really good usualyl atleast one or two groups aren't caught up, but this week we have all worked hard and been caught up!!!

Weekly Update

This week hasn't been hard but it definetley isn't easy either! The high school is suppose to come over tomorrow to tell us how were doing and show us some tips. They'll try and help us wth our games.  Hopefully a few of them will get our idea and can help us, even helping us a little would be great. There is a Special Lunch today for certain students, so yah I guess I'll be going to that at 11, hope it won't be boring!!!

Weekly blog post

dThis week we have worked in finishing our game demos with buttons. Stevie and I finally finished our game demo AGAIN and now we have the buttons working, to some extent. It is cutting of some of the text so we definetley have to work on fixing that. We think it is because the text is touching the button. And we aren't sure how to change the text but we will figure it out we alwasy do! Well thats been this week. Hopefully we won't have any trouble with anythang next week! :)

I couldn't find a resourcfeul link on a classmates blog so I found one of my own. This link takes to a How To Solve One Step Equations Website. Our games math is one step equations, so if people visit this site before they play it they may be able to do the math in teh game better. This link shows examples and how to solve one step equations. This week is going to be a little bit hard becauase Logans first state tournament game is Wednesday and alot of us including me will be absent that day. If we win wednesday the next game isn't until Friday at 9o'clock so Wednesday will be the only day we miss for tournaments. Follow the link below for information on one step equations!

  In our game you first go to the title screen, there is instructions,controls,and math tips icons. You can go to math tips to learn more about the kind of math we are using which is one step equations. The controls shows what buttons to use to do certain things. Instructions just tells you the concept of the game, and tells you how to play. You have to shoot the apple with the correct answer to the math problem and if you get it wrong the fox eats a bad apple and you loose points. If you get the problems rigtht and get enough points, then you get to go to a screen where all you do is shoot apples. That screen is the fun part, you just shoot apples, you don't answer problems.

Week of March 7-11

This week has been crazy on a count of writing assessments, we haven't been aloud to be in the computerlabs because writing assessment is an online test. Thursday we were finally aloud back in our room. We started working on buttons,but while Stevie and I were doing that we found a bunch of problems with our game demo so we opened a new flash Action Script 2.0 and we are copying files and buttons and images to try to find the problem, hopefully we will have buttons working along with the game demo by Next Tuesday! Other then the problems in the games, our weeks have been great, I made track!!! So hopefully we will get this all fixed before next Wednesday! :)

This week started pretty good but isn't really getting better. Stevie got really sick so she won't be here for awhile so I don't know how long I'll be by myself. This week we have finished game demos and started putting them together so far. Hopefully Stevie will be back soon but I don't know,she is really really sick!!! So yah,probably won't get much done until she gets back,but other than thimy week has been pretty good!!!

Feb.9

  This week we haven't had a snow day or delay all week so we have got to work all week. Friday we have an eighth grade assembly that will mess up all morning classes and then honor roll students get to miss out on all afternoon classes to watch a movie!!! So Friday will be an easy day for eighth grade atleast and then next Friday honor society gets to go to Charleston to meet the governor and go to Hibachi's. We are working on our game demo's right now which is confusing but really fun!!!!

Game concept

  We have learned a lot of new things since we have started our game.  We have learned to use tones more flash tools, it is getting very interesting and fun and Mrs.Zeto says it will only get more fun tommorow when we start scene two.  I am glad that I got into this class,it was hard at the beginning of the year but after we all worked together it got easier and it will most likely only get harder and harder. But I think once we start getting use to it we will be great at it and be able to get even better if we choose to take it in high school next year. We haven't really changed any concepts in our game since we started and we don't plan to but you never know in this class it could even change tommorow.

This week was busy even though we have had a delay and a early release so far. We have almost finshed filming every bodys video blog. This week has been a lot more productive then last week,hopefully we will get our vlog filmed today!!!

This week we have been working on paper prototypes, now we are going to start video blogs,we have to film each other answering questions that are on the paper proto typing tab. We have been working all week unlike last week,where we had in school games,snow days,amd alot of people were absent. I think we are actually making progress this week,already!!!

Found out that Stevie is really sick and that is why she isn't here. Hopefully she will be back soon so we can actually work on our prototypes,a lot of people have been absent recently so we haven't gotten very far,we haven't been so productive in the past week. Well maybe Stevie will be back this tommorw, or maybe even further in the week, I just hope she comes back so we can finish up with the paper prototypes. A few teams are recording toda.hopefully we can do ours soon!!!! :P
